Intercultural Training

Intercultural trainings advance effective and competent behaviour in an international environment. The aim is to

  • understand culture as orientation system,
  • reflect the own environmental conditioning,
  • conciously capture the cultural conditioning of others and
  • broaden the own communication and behaviour skills.

Culture general trainings improve the capacity of the participants to interact with members of different cultures by sensitizing them interculturally. A basic understanding of culture and of the impact of culture on human thinking and acting is provided without addressing one specific culture in particular.

Culture specific trainings deal with the culture of a specific country or region. Similarities with and differences to the home culture are crucial topics and possible problems and conflicts are dealt with that might arise in intercultural teamwork or cooperation.
